I recently had the joy of shooting Madelyn’s 8th Grade senior pictures.  Gosh, I can only imagine the challenges this last year has brought with covid and all.  There was no traditional school year this year.  Between  online classes, hybrid and then in person learning these kids most certainly had to learn to adapt pretty quickly.    I have a soft spot in my heart for her middle school as all three of my kids went there as well!

Madelyn and her family were great to work with.  They were fun and I enjoyed our chats when walking to and from each photo location.  Madelyn is the youngest of three children and the only girl.  I’m sure she’s extra spoiled because of it.  Heck, my baby is too! I still can’t get over her her amazingly gorgeous curly hair.  People always say that you want what you don’t have in terms of hair.  I would have to agree, because I would just love those curls!!!

We did Madelyn’s pictures at Riverview Farmstead in South Naperville.   It’s such a beautiful park and was truly the perfect spot for her 8th grade senior portraits.  I wish this sweet girl the best in her high school years.   I have no doubt that she will thrive and do so well throughout high school.

In the meantime, I know this sweet family has some amazing summer travel plans.  Enjoying a summer of travel and hopefully less mask wearing outdoors sounds so delightful right now.
