Wow…. 2020 has been quite a year.  The Class of 2020 has experienced this chaos so much more.  Senior year is always stressful.  Trying to keep your grades up, apply for college and the fear of all the changes to come are enough to stress out any teenager.  But this year the Class of 2020 has had so much more to contend with.  Covid stepped in and just added so much more chaos and stress.   Seniors missed field trips, proms, graduations.   They missed the last couple of months they would have had to hang out with their friends.

While this wasn’t an ideal senior year for the Class of 2020 I can tell you that it will make those kids stronger!  They will come out of this with some life lessons.  Heck, it’s not every day you have to learn to work around a pandemic.  They’ve had to learn to think outside of the box to make things work and they will continue learning in whatever capacity they can.   I feel pretty confident that the Class of 2020 is going to be stronger in the long run.

My own daughter was a 2020 Senior!   I’m so incredibly proud of her for making the best of her senior year and working with what she was given.   Stills by Sarah recently relocated to northern Illinois and we decided to do some fun pictures to celebrate her senior year in Vernon Hills.   Enjoy some of her pictures below.

If you’d like to book your own portrait session you can message me HERE.  I’d love to get to know some more families in the north burbs!   I’ve been a photographer for the past 11 years or so and am excited to see where this new journey takes me.
